Do caps really **** that bad ?

Ok i know alot of you are saying yes capacitors **** dont buy one blah blah blah..but i figured all this out after i bought one ! Yes i know prolly a stupid move..but ive got a sound stream 4 farad cap. ive got a Aq1200-d amp..runnin at one ohm pumpin all the power i can..since i already have the cap should i install it ? my headlights dim pretty bad..(yea i know i should get a differnt alt. but you find one for a 03hyundai sonata that they dont want a F-ing arm and leg for!!!) INSTALL YES ER NO ?

there really not that good . your better off doin the big3 .. on a side note the big3 upgrade is not allways goin to fix ya volt/dimming issue u might be having..

i have heard that the cap will trick the regulator in the alt. in to think the batt. is not charged. thus constantly chargeing & eventually burning up the alt. not sure though.
