Is there a thread, or a formula to be able to read off of a dmm for true rms of an amplifier.Anyone know how to do this?I thought Ive read at one time, and not finding the information any longer. Thanks
RMS output you need at least 2 things, a dmm and a AC clamp meter. Clamp the positive speaker wire coming out of your amp with the meter, and use the DMM to measure the AC voltage at the speaker terminals. Multiply the 2 values you get to get your RMS. Divide voltage by current to get your impedance rise
