indeed i got my ssd's with flatwind and bp power they rock :]I'm telling you from a design standpoint.
I know both subs inside, out, and backwards.
Now, for the last time.
SSD + Flatwire coil = Par with SX.
I'm not being biased, i'm being 100% factual with my claims...I have no reason at all to lie...
The SSD you heard and played with was probably with a copper coil, the flatwound coil makes a big difference in that motor....
It could come down to an argument of brand bias as well. I could build 9 subs that are the exact same and put 9 different brand names on them. Put you in a car and let you see only the brand name of every dustcap. You'll swear up and down that 1 is different and superior to another....even though they are all the same.
Just factual information...i've got no reason to sway anything. However i'm not going to let people make erroneous false claims when I am nothing short of correct. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Surely somebody there has to have a termlab or some other decibel meter that's worth a damn.yah with all that im in the middle of the ocen no "sanctioned events for lets see 3000 miles...
Very good #'shere are some of my number nuttin to high but the frequencies are what i like...
btl 12 142.0 sealed at the dash termlab @ 37 hz
q 18 143.5 sealed at teh dash 35hz
bl 10 sealed at teh dash 139.8 38hz
sx 15x2 sealed at the dash bad electricals 148.9 off of 2000 watts @ 38hz
sx 12's 142.x sealed dash 3x hz i forget....
the 148.9 is gonna be a 150 next time i meter i can garuntee that...
plus we are in hawaii which has been proven to drop db's proven with sayer's kicker excursion....ruffly 1-2 db...
a internet tuff guy stfu
have you owned all 4 woofers....
i am a fi fan....have been i was the first to get the 2nd version...i was the first to get a 12 in hawaii....ive plyed with all and my numbers show the sx closer to the bl and MY ear tells me the sound is closer to the q...now you **** off..and go **** nicks dick yor obviously a nut swinger for them...
he had to change the desig when he left re the subs were already patented does that mean he made them BETTER MAYBE....but why is it my installs show different results....
again if you got better number with type r's then im sorry your a shitty installer..
i have had lots of time to play all the subs i had tried different boxes and difffernt firing angles
love fi always have alway will but its just not so..
it is possible that nick is confusing the sx and the se..
its just so ironic the se has very similar numbers to the ssd while the sx is different.
whatever im happy as shit with my sx's and i will let my numbers do my bidding...
so as opposed to posting anything that could be considered constructive, you prove your ignorance by making pathetic attempts at insulting people when all you do is prove your incompetence.^^^^ all that from a guy who runs kicker amps.....lol..
at what fequency.....i bet ATLEAST in the 48+hz......ty 10 will not do no 144...unless its at around 50+ hz...... like i said my # are all daily aplications...As a point of reference I have pulled a 145+ sealed on the dash (41 hz) out of a monte carlo trunk with one 9510 and ~2000 watts.
Scaling that down with the type-r I'm still looking at over a 144 sealed on the dash.
So who's the shitty installer again?
except for the fact that tommyk is a champion in two organizations and has backed up those numbers more times than you can count.at what fequency.....i bet ATLEAST in the 48+hz......ty 10 will not do no 144...unless its at around 50+ hz...... like i said my # are all daily aplications...
