the signal to noise ratio is just that.... how much signal compared to how much noise... you wont hear a difference, they are both high and fairly similar

Do more research before you get the w7. That's all I'm saying.

I'm not trying to tell you that the RE XXX or the DD 9500 series is any better. I'm also not saying that you can get cheaper power through a Hifonics Amp, I'm just saying do your research.

I prob. would do more research, but considering the fact that there are 84 posts to this thread all basically saying that the JL 12W7 is one of the best, I'm going to stick with that. I'm really more interested in knowing things now like the nec. for a capacitator / amps / batteries etc.

All right, I was quoted 1357 before sales tax for the JL 12W7, the JL ProWedge sealed box, a Rockford Fosgate 1001bd amp, along with the wiring, nobs and installation. Does this sound like a good price for the package considering it will be coming from an authorized dealer with all of the warranties?
