The point is you paid for a High Output alternator and your not getting the most out of it. If you change out your belt you will get what you paid for.well if its workin fine and not slipping, i dont see the point. but actually my belt doesnt look to be in too good of condition, so ill probably get a smaller one when i replace it.
they put the smaller pulleys on High output alternators because it produces more amps at idle not to mention the amps it produces at 2k rpm. You may be only using 70-80% of that alternators potential.
