different imps bad?

im buying a w7 tomorrow and i know they are 3 ohm imp, but my amp can only take 1 or 2 ohms if i run the w7 at that will it dmg the sub or amp? ive said it b4, im new

If your amp can take 1 ohm then it can definately take 3 ohms, it just won't produce as much power (depending on the amp)
