Diamond D6 or Alpine type R

I can only speak for the D6s, I like em.
i hate them. they lack midbass like crazy, or maybe my standards are too high. if i were to do it over again i would go with the polk momo components or the pioneer revs. i would even go for the rec coaxials over my d6 components. i wish i kept the ones i first had in my cobra.

I'm in the smae delemma as you are. For my rear stage tho, I duno wut to get. Although I am a huge D.A. fan. I had 3 1/2" but those are ugly no matter wut.
i am very happy with my diamond d3 6" coaxials in my boat. i have eight of them with a zapco 1000.4 reference. each speaker sees roughly 125 watts. they are simply great. have tons of midbass. oh, i also have a zapco SP4 EQ on them.
