Design Request

Trying to save space so here is what I have:

40" long

16" high

depth...want it small as possible

Just wondering what the depth would be with 3.0 and 3.5(preferred but might not have a small depth) cubic tuned to 32 hz

Sub = 12" Treo SSX

Mounting depth - 6.375

driver displacement - .2 cubic

Will pay for design. under 15" depth is preferred and that design i will take. but let me know what u guys can do. Thanks for your time.

lol, thats only 3 cu/ft sealed if you including your driver displacement...

good luck finding someone to design you something that pretty much impossible.

with those parameters you can do 2.2 cu/ft @32Hz with decent port volume.

or

if you can do 14.75" in debt you can get 3 cu/ft @32Hz with better por volume.

ok thanks for the info, so since u got the math done...how much space will 15 inch depth get me? I guess im going to have to remeasure my trunk, or something

With those numbers, I get 4.3 cubes gross.

well i had it set at 12" depth but I am talking to chris about designing a box for me, but i also found a box built by TeamPSI using round ports that i am liking. seems like it would save space, but i dont know, I may go a different route with this and get totally new measurements

With what you have there, its impossible. If you have larger dims, then okay. Usually in box designing, if you want to limit one dimension, it's the height. Depth limitations are usually the worse because you need more volume for your port and the driver will consequently take up more space.
