Debating on which path I should take. Amp/sub combo

I have two setups I can go with. Need opinions on which would be better in the case of Sound quality and and power of the punch. Currently, I have Alpine R with 1000W.

-Alpine 1000W to a DD 9015 4ohm DVC in a 4.2cube 37hz box with aero's

-Usa Amp 2000 @ 2kwatts to Alpine Type R 15 in same box (will have 200Amp alt on this)

Or....

Usa Amp to DD 9015 (DD says might be little to much power for it)
