Basically 0.9db gain from about $75 worth of sound deadening. You can't beat the value.Totally worth it - I can't think of a cheaper way to gain a dB at this level of SPL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Do what I said.My 152.1 won't come back - maybe it was a fluke perfect hit on the mic or something to that effect.
I am hitting 152.0 over and over... no effect from deadening the internal areas in the rear quarter panels. I have not sealed up the holes yet - just dampening the outer skin of the vehicle from the inside. I did both sides and 152.0 it still is.
I'll post pics of the dampening I did in these areas tomorrow.
On the bright side - the Jeep is a good bit quieter outside when the bass is loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Indeed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I need to fix my A/C to make that happen - it has a leak somewhere.Do what I said.Run the A/C in for about an hour in the shade.
Hell, empty a bag of ice on top of your roof and let it melt half way. Spread the water around to cool the sheet metal. then burp
Cooling the interior of your car can help a good deal.

To cover it with one layer I used less than a full bulk pack... I'd say 24-28 ft^2 and that produced all of my consistent gain so far.Sundownz,
How many sq ft have you used on the roof so far?
