any one tried this one yet Amazon.com : Reckhorn ABX 21.5 Sq Ft X 80 Mil Thick Self-adhesive Sound Deadener Aluminium Foil + Butyl Based Damping : Electronics, seems to be pretty inexpensive for 80mil and claims its not cheap butyl (no smell), the only PITA is that it is one full roll of 21.5ft^3

You get what you pay for there's a reason you have not heard of it. The least expensive deadener I would use would be Kolossus.

I got 100mil Knu on the way. I've used Fatmat, hushmat, dynamat, road kill.

how did u like the Road kill, i was thinking of getting some of that, i have used Shok Mat too, i thought that was good

#1 hushmat

#2 tie road kill and Fatmat

Far 3rd dynamat but the new black foil stuff was a bit better.

you need to get some q-mat and do a thread on dampning....

i like my q-mat. read great thinks about it. but i was between the knu and q-mat for me. so i picked q-mat....

That's what I' am running on my trunk lid as a 2nd layer the Stinger didn't deaden it enough for my two MTX jh45's so I knew I would be in trouble with the new subs lol. I've got the Stinger pad under everything and the stinger road kill on the trunk lid and the Kolossus over it works super. I got 14 sq feet for 54 bucks didn't use much of it actually just to do my trunk lid.

I use b2. 100 mil thick. Great stuff. No more roof flex. I've also used audio Technix dynamat road kill accumat. And now this. So far the best
