2500 is very loud for the price. I plan on looking for a 3500 soon, the 99's are to expensive for my taste atm.

9900 series- hardcore spl sub, SPL- around $800

9900z series - crazy super spl only sub with huge a$$ neo magnet, around $5000

if you can afford 3500s then you can afford blown 9500e/f motors and then buy the recone for around 400ish

there isn't much price differece between the 1008's through 1012's they run $150 $160 $170 ....the 1015 jumps to around the $200 area....The 512's run around $140....These are closer to real world pricing....DD has had some increases in cost due to material increases....
