DD sub question.

Have a 508 I wanted to send out to be reconed by DD. single 4 coil, was asking if they could do D4 or D2 coil. Was told no lol. Single coils only for them. Question is if they hand build subs why can't this be done.

Probably don't have the coil that fits that sub in d2/d4.

I just seen they used to offer D4 coils on them. Hmmm that's weird, thought they hand built subs.

Hand built doesn't mean they make the coils. I'm sure they are ordered in large quantities.

Yea, I would assume they just don't have the right size coil for them in d4.

Can you recone a sub without it being hand built?
