DCsoundlab Demo/Comp Car

Hello everyone. I'm a rep from Nebraska for DC audio and I've slowly been working on a Demo/comp car for the 2010 season. Car is a 4dr. 92 Mazda Protege. I keep the car 2 hours away from me at the team shop so I travel to work on it. Spring break should be a good time for me to get it as far as i can so it will be ready for the first few comps.

Equipment for car

2 18" (one off) DC lvl 5 dual .5 ohm coils.

4 DC PAI-2000.1 amps

1 DC PAI-120.4 for doors

2 sets of Kicker KS600's for front doors

1 set of old KS600's for trunk

6 Kinetik HC2400's

1 DCpower 300a alt w/ external reg

200ft of trystar 2/0 for front to back runs

ok, Got car started after an hour of trying. Come to find out the battery was sitting at 5.8v and dropping to 1v when a load was put on battery. so got a battery sitting at 12.6v and it started with it jumping off my truck.

*we tried jumping the car with bad battery off my truck, didn't work. tried removing battery and hooking up to my truck. didn't work. Tried hooking a kinetik HC2400 up to the bad battery and that didn't work as well.

got the car unstuck. now the drivers door is stuck shut, so i am gonna have to find out how to get that open one of these days and fix it. till then i'm hopping through the passengers seat. still runs good. so on to the ****

batt rack all welded up. I welded from the back side so i didn't have to do any grinding. I may add in some cross members for support when i go down next. who knows yet.

and i lost all my other pictures tthat i finished with. Battery rack, buss bars made. and they are sitting on the charger, I worked for 3 hours today so i didn't get muchdone. But enough to keep me going.
