DB Electrical Alt owners unite!

they said mine would do 105 at idle lol
thats what mine specified as well and it was a LIE. if i ever need a huge one it will be custom case or add another one. I had one of those leece type in my van long ago with 6 arc 2500cxl in it and never had lack of juice. those are the real 300 amp monsters it was from a large size ambulance 4wd rescue vehicle. you can not have a small case size alternator that can fit enough copper in it to produce great amounts of current at low speed.

I've read mixed reviews on EA. They also want more for an alt than the car is worth.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I'll most likely get a Mechman alt though. I'll know tomorrow when I get payed.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
ive heard good from mechman. so far, nate does good work but just like everycompany has its **** uops bro no one is perfect

We've got some 140 and 200 amp units for American cars on clearance for really cheap. (less than $200 shipped) PM me if you are looking for one for a pre-90's GM or Ford vehicle.

I purchased a DB electrical 200amp for my blazer, and it performed well. Tested amperage at 2000 RPM and the below pictures shows what it put out. As for reliabilty, I never had an issue, but I've ran the alt for approximately 1 month. If the alt does not do rated power, you can simply return it for a full refund.
