Type Rs arent bad drivers. I just am really partial to the Kickers.

O man I would choose the Rs over the cvxs any day in both spl and sql and i have owned both and installed both in many cars.

Type R's die over 45 hz, as you can tell form this graph CVX's are within 2 db from 30hz-60hz

R's will get louder than you'd expect on 2Krms. But there's better spl subs out there obviously.

either way, u probably cant go wrong with either... but I had 1 12" type r for one of my first systems and I would still rate it as one of my favorite subs

it didnt sound bad at all and it got ****in loud

and i just got in 2 15s type-rs a couple days ago and I cant even wait to get them in
