Keep my L5, or go to something else?

i'm about to put a sup in my car....seeing as i've got all the rest of my system together:

car: 07 honda fit

headunit: alpine 7977 (yes...it's OLD...but, it worked fine in my WRX..and it'll be fine for me until i decide on what to get next)

front stage: cdt 6.5's

front stage amp: MTX 502

sub amp: MTX 801D (supposedly...around 750w RMS @ 14.4)

ok...i gotta get a sub. i have a bnib 12" L5 (dual 4) that i was going to run...but, i don't want a big ported box..and i'd like SOME sq out of it...

i'm not sure if i want to stick to this sub....or go for something else. i don't wanna run it now....and then change it out later because it sounds shitty...and seeing as it's still new in the box, it's worth more now, haha.

i'm not sure if i want to stick to a 12...or go to a 10....

and i was looking at the mb quart reference subs....i REALLY like a very mild looking sub. i really like my old memphis HP 10, but it's got a dead vc so it's really of no use to me. the w6 looks good too, but is a little more than i want to spend right now...so, yeah, any suggestions?

Dont fix wait anit broken,work with what ya got and go from there.IDK about the Memphis or MB,But the W6 is an amazing sq woofer.

it's inherently the same sub as what i have?

i was wanting a more convential, low key sub....

but, i might just build a small, sealed box for this for the time being
