bought infinity kappa's... tore holes in surrounds of both on accident, so i fixed with silicone caulking.

couple weeks later (under normal circumstances) the tweeters went out and they would not touch them for warranty because the part i didn't want fixed was broken.

Bad customer service, too.

(i sledged, smashed, and torched the speakers after plugging them into a wall socket)

not many would fix it (as a way to get out of it) you make a strong point but not many stores would either.

Excel Audio Inc. in the Chicago Suburbs. I had a very bad experience with them. They did a complete trunk install for me which costed 700 bucks. About a week later I decided to have someone else re do it because it looked like crap, and was a very shady install. Had plexi glass over wheel well where amps were mounted, but no removeabla panels, or a big piece of plexi glass to access the amps. Every time I wanted to get to my amps to change something they wanted to charge me another 120 bucks!! I contacted the BBB and they took my side so I was happy to win this case. Has to tell you something there. Just because a company does good work on THEIR cars, doesn't mean they give 2 shits about your car. Not to mention they stole the rest of the suede they used for the install, and made me buy a sound dampner that was supposedly cause by the alternator....when it was indeed caused by the amp instead. Oh, and they almost had me buyin 80$ worth of RCA's for the same reason.

I bought a set of speakers from ikesound.com through ebay, but it was paid for through their site. Everything was okay, no problems, which reminds me...

I bought an amp from them, paid for, then I got a notice that they didn't have it in stock. So they refunded the money, it went to paypal, but I needed it in my bank so I could write a check...anyways it worked out but that was annoying, had to wait a while to get the money back into my bank account, I checked back later and they were still selling that same amp model.

its the ''bomb''...i love it. wish i could rent space to live in thier warehouse.....love the brands....i ordered afew times from them.....once i had a order on the way to me and found it cheaper on the net.they cut me a price match refund check. got it in 4 days...

i do wish they had free shipping....but what you going to do?

also internet sound solutions is good. the sites real slow for me. they have some bad brands by your rating i suppose but theres afew great brands too. i saw afew earthquake amps there....kicker subs...

Ordered a california profile Ap1200 AMP from http://www.ikesound.com

I wait all last week, and this week (today) I get a message in my email saying:

"sorry this item is backordered till the 26th of Jan"

That is very unprofessional that they didn't list their item was backordered in the first place. I feel that is cheating the customer out.

Now i'm cancelling from them, and going with someone else.

P.S: they never pick up their phone. I call at all times of the day, and each time there has been a message machine.

hi everybody

i made an order from http://www.onlinecarstereo.com for alpine component speakers. well, they were out of stock and just to me to wait so i canceled the order. i would not recomend them.

so i took my order to http://www.woofersetc.com and also got an amp. well...get this...they were out of the amp, so instead of not doing anything like onlinecarstereo, they upgraded the amp (same brand, same watts, but the better model) for the same price! the amp i'm getting instead is $100 dollors more but it's not going to cost me any more, and i can't be more spleased. always buy from wooferset.com, they're the best!
