Crystal CoMP box sizes

Crystal told me 1cubic ft sealed is the only size sealed box a comp 12 should go in. I wanted to go bigger,hit lower. Do these subs get REAL LOW in only 1 cube?

I have not heard the 12 in a larger sealed box, but you can always build a 1.5 then slug it if you do not like the sound

I have a dual 1.4 sealed box to put these in, the guy at crystal said the suspension is "tuned" to 1 cubic ft. Will my little larger box just hit lower,less power handling?
