Does anyone know the volume of a 8" bass tube?

Im not sure how to calculate the volume of it, but you arent thinking of putting a different sub in there are you?

There was a guy on here a couple months ago that wanted to put a W7 in a bazooka tube, simply because he already had the tube.

I dont think I would put a w7 in it but I am going to put an 8" kicker comp in it, got it off ebay brand new for 25 buks. I'm sticking with the tube because it fits in the truck nicely and it's ported. Should be plenty for me.

Pi*r^2*L

Pi*r^2 being the area of a circle, L being the length

So, 3.14159 * 4^2 * 18

Assuming 8" and 18" are the internal dimensions. If not, replace those numbers (4 & 18) with the actual internal dimensions.

PS: This is junior high math here (that stuff you thought you'd never use in real life.......). You should know this.

Math owns my ***, and I could answer that question //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just don't ask me to calculate the integral of an enclosure...ack //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I know that, but I dont know how many cu. ft it is. If you do what you just said to you get 904.32

Divide by 1728 (12 * 12 * 12)

Again, junior high math here. Sorry, but it upsets me when people need to be spoon fed everything and don't try to apply what they should know from basic math skills taught in every high school in America.
