Crossover

Alright, my Pioneer headunit has crossover for Front, Rear, and Sub. Or I can run Front Tweeter, Front Mid, and Subwoofer. My question, with that much control should I turn off the crossovers on the amps and just use the headunit. The crossover on the headunit allow me to go -6,-12,-24 db per octave on mids and highs and up to -10 db per octave on the sub.

Right now I have the head unit set at 100hz -12db on mids and 100hz -10db on sub.

I would choose HU crossovers over amp crossovers.....more control/accuracy and easier to switch things up quickly for tuning....FYI im about a 2 hour drive from Minot, if you ever need tuning help I have an RTA and am very good with REW

I might have to take you up on that once I get everything installed. The headunit has a 31 band EQ that I would like to utilize

Pioneer FH-722BS its a cheap headunit, but has some nice bells and whistles. When I was tuning my amps, at 1000hz I got no distortion all the way to 60 volume. But when I tried 40hz it started distorting at 52. So I tuned it at 51 volume. Since setting the gains I haven't had the volume over 31. It's more than loud enough for me at that volume.
