Crossover? Use Headunit or Amp?

I have a Pioneer DEH-P8600MP

Should I use the headunit crossover or the amp crossover???

If I should use the headunit, should I allow the mic and automatic setup do it or do it manually?

HU...use your own ears (unless you're going to have the mic drive you around town)

Hell no...nobody drives my truck but me!!

Your own ears are the best to use...no person (or mechanical equipment) hears just like you do...the only hearing you need to satisfy is your own.

The mic will get you somewhere in the ballpark, but trust me, you will be tweaking even after it's done, so IMO it's not worth the effort.
