My MMATTS crossover has a connection for amp. I have a 2 channel Atomic 504 4 channel amp for this. I've never wired an amp to a crossover before so I don't know what the wire is that I'm running from the amp to the crossover. I think it's power wire?? little loopy right now from some toxic fumes and tired.

Little confused thanks

You should be wiring the speaker wire to the crossover. Crossovers connect to your speaker + and - on your amp if running passive. Then from the crossovers you take speaker wire out to your mid(s) and tweeter.

what I did when I installed the speakers to the factory deck was splice into the factory wire for the right, left for front and rear soldering all the connections. I then hooked up the right crossover for the right front into the factory wire. I put those wires + and - on the crossovers + and - connection for each crossover. Then There was an empty spot for the amp to be connected to for each crossover.

My thought was that once I got an amp I would just add the wire into that + and - and be good.

Without an amp my speakers sound great. I'm pretty sure I did wire them correctly. I'll take some pictures tonight.
