Since i cant really find the answer anywhere, i need to know how to set this up properly.

If my sundown100.4 has crossovers in it, would that negate the crossovers that come with a set of comps? Or should i buy seperate midbass and tweeters and run 2 channels to each without using external xovers?

it just gives you more options.

The crossover on the amp should have a "high pass" option that you want to set at the lowest note you want your comp set to play.

Say from 60hz to 100hz for most comps, depending on the midbass capability of the comp woofers.

The comp crossovers then do the crossing over between the set's woofers and tweeters.

If theres a "low pass" option its usually for subs, and if you're running comps defeat it (if thats an option on the amp).
