materials to fiber glass doors?

I spend most of yesterday making mdf 6x8 to 6 1/2 speaker plates and realized that the speaker now hits the door panel. I dont know where I can get mdf any thinner than 5/8. Home depot has none and all lowes has is 3/4 or 5/8.

I got mad at my door panel so I started cutting pieces out that cover the speaker.

Since I already jacked my door panel, I figured I could try glassing a door pod instead of using an mdf baffle plate.

What materials do I need and how much would it all cost?

Uh OP, there are materials other than MDF that you can use to create your baffles. Thinner options could include but are in no ways limited to the following: ABS, HDPE, masonite, and I could go on...

home depot carries it in 2x4 sheets. it's in the pre-cut aisle, same aisle as all the pine 1x's and 2x's, you should notice it somewhere by windows and doors and moldings. all of them carry it. I'm a vendor rep for Boise Cascades, there the company that supplies the pre-cut wood. they'll have 1/4, 1/2, 5/8, and 3/4 in MDF and some stores will carry 1 HDF
