Crossover installation?

Ok my crossover has a tweeter + and -, in and out terminal. A woofer + an -, in and out terminal. I connect the speakers to the crossover from the out terminals on the crossover to the woofer and tweeter. This leaves me with 4 of the input terminals. I want to hook up the woofer and tweeter to one channel but it looks like I will be using two channels because I have to connect a woofer and a tweeter input. Did tht make sense? I need help.
