I have a set of full range Alpine SPS-600 6-3/4" coaxes 70 - 22K freq response.

My amp's hi-pass is fixed at 80 Hz.

For lows I have a 10" sub with a 20 - 500 freq response.

Do you think 80 HPF is "good enough"? Or would higher be even better? Say 90 or 100? 300??

Like, would that cause the Alpines to not distort until a louder level, since they wouldn't have to handle as much of the lows.
