But seriously. I hope you are kidding with all those speakers. And instead of batcaps, buy a few HO alts and an extra trunk to go with that pair of 15" XXX's. If you were smart, you would just get one 15" XXX and build a snailshell!!! Considering you don't even have the money for this system yet, I think you should not post any of this shit until you do have the money. That way our advice could be taken seriously. Now one full month will pass and you will still be debating between newer products, used products and 16k sets of mids and highs.

i think that snail shell is louder than a ported box... but dont quote me... and

you have to account for 1 sub vs. 2 subs...

the 2 would probably still be louder overall... but not as cool as the snailshell..

haha i should be able to fit 2 if i dont want to be able to use the trunk at all, right now i have 4 cu ft with alot of trunk space, if i want none i should be able to come out with somewhere around 8 if not more.

nono, even though its mixed and matched...all the components are pretty decent. It sounds pretty **** good. No distortion...occasional mudding when songs with a lot of acoustics are playing loud but... bound to happen anyways

I will only have 3 sets of components!! I dont know why everyone is bashing the mids and hi's (besides they arent all the same brand, whooooooh!!) Considering what will be in the trunk, i dont think any less than 3 would sound to great...probably get drowned out

given that my single 3-way setup up front can and does keep up with 3kw of substage with ease i'd say it's possible.

no way a 3 way set does 140 db unless its 2 mid basses and a horn set lol might be listenable but no way is it keeping up

That many sets of mids and highs is just plain retarded. Save your money and get a higher output alternator. One set of GOOD components should be PLENTY good.

There is no way that 2 sets of MIDLINE components can keep up with 2 15" xxx's!!! NO WAY. Unless there is an enclosure built for every speaker in the car, and placed perfectly, and have an incredible quality amp for them. 3 isnt that much guys!!!
