Crazy lookin sub. Mystery ?

These subs have been out for quite a while (a few years at least) these re their old Neo subwoofers.. The current ones look just like the first gen DDZ motors with the column stack neos. They are using an aluminum top plate with small neo blocks and large steel columns on the outside edge of the motor to connect the magnet to the t-yoke. Same as the DDZ, they also use the smaller OD spiders like the DD and similar cones and surrounds along with the Venezuela baskets that DD used to use. In short, they are very similar to DDZ subwoofers which is kinda funny, everyone has been waiting for a Chinese company to knock off a DD sub and it was done in South America. hahaha.... Here is a link to Hal's team page on Termpro to see a picture of the Shocker SPL subwoofers. http://www.termpro.com/asp/competitorstats.asp?Competitor_ID=63939&SessionID=895978300

Hal won dB Drag World Championship this past year with a 181.4 dB over Craig Butler's 181.1 dB

Hal was running Shocker SPL's and Banda Audio Viking 10K amplifiers in a Volvo Wagon

Craig Butler was running DDZ's and Sound Digital Amplifiers in an Astro Van
