Couple questions about Brahmas...

I was reading their charts they have that show you how big of a box you need and how many watts it will take to push them to full excursion. For a 10" Brahma in .5cu.ft. box it takes about 1,000 watts, in 0.87 cubes it takes 700 watts...so I'm guessing if you gave them something like 1.75 cubes each it would take between 300 and 400 watts? Anyways, I was thinking if this is true, you don't need a very big amp to make these babies pound. I mean, put a pair of 10's in a 4 cube box with a JBL 600.1 amp and they would pound, am I not right? B/c I was thinking about doing that, getting a pair of 10's and getting my jbl back. Tell me if you think this is stupid or not. Basically I'm looking for something louder, but keeping the same wattage.

I dont think it works to that extent. i highly doubt 300 will be enough to get a brahma moving.
Didn't he say it was a 600.1? Anyway, it WILL get a brahma moving. Says it right here in the manual. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
