First of all, i was curious as to what peoples thoughts are on Cadence subwoofers, I have never heard of them before, i found the 2 i have at a pawn shop for 70$ in a sealed box, i tested them first of course and sounded decent in the shop.
I have an SSL ev1000 watt amp running only 200 watts to them at 2ohms... I got 137db and they sound ok...
My questions are.... 1, thoughts on cadence brand. 2. is it harmful to a subwoofer if you dont push them to their power? this may seem silly but i have heard it a couple times just curious.
and 3. I have a kicker zx200.1 amp and was curious do you all think i should use that amp instead of my ssl amp? a buddy told me the kicker puts better power out even tho they are rated at the same RMS.
