Could this be done, or should I do that, or would that just be stupid?

So, looking to get some power in a lil Ranger. It is a standard cab, and I have a set of the alpine Type R 8" that come in the factory boxes. Have been looking at an alpine mrv 500W for them, and another of the MRV line for 4 speakers, mrv35 I thing.

I have not been a fan of 5 channels, and never had a need for them, but with space so tight, and the goal is a very modest little system, I am looking at one. In particular, a Soundstream TA5.1250D. It is a hybrid with the 4 channels being A/B, and the sub channel being Digi. With that said, could the 4 channels be ran 4 ohms and the sub channel ran 2 ohms on this thing?

I Have had a Crunch P1, 5 Channel, i used my subwoofer channel on 2 ohms, and had a regular 4 speakers at 4 ohms on speaker channel, i had no problems with it, its still setup as a audio setup for my work area. I dont think you'll have a problem with it.
