2 xplod 1000w amps for 2 12" cvrs???

so my speakers are double coil, but were only wired to one. I wired my 2 12" cvrs (silver ones) to both coils (parallel), and they blew both the fuses in my 1000w monoblock bass inferno amp. my friend wants to sell me his sony xplod amps, there is 2 amps, 1000w each. I want to put an amp to each sub wired parallel do u guys think those would be a good idea/match for those amps with my speakers? speakers are 400rms 800 peak. thanks
