wattage for an amp

I'm going to power two 600w rms 12s and was wondering if a brx 1200 will be fine to power them (i know the numbers match up, but I didn't know if i'd abuse one of the parts of the system) or if I should get a little more wattage? But, I only have a stock battery and stock alternator at 80amps.

I don't know if I have the budget for the 220 dollars it brings. I'm scared that it would drain out my power, with a big3 and stock everything

brx's are perfectly capable amps. Just don't crank the gain/bass boost and it should work well at 1 ohm with a pair of 600w d4's.

With an 80A alt it would be wise to be aware of your electrical system's function at high volume.
