Could someone suggest an amp?

I recently picked up a pair of PPI Pro12s, 300w RMS, flat-piston, 8ohms each, which I want to run in a sealed box. I'm gonna parallel them to 4ohms, so I understand I need an amp that bridges well to a min. of 600w at 4ohms. I understand there's a lot of choices out there, but I don't really know much about these subs. From what I've read and been told, they are very power-hungry (not sure what that means?), and I'm just wondering if I should go with something more than 600w RMS or if that's exactly what I should be looking for. I've been considering a Kicker KX500.2 with a birthsheet of 704. Would this be enough, or should I be looking for a 800.2 instead? I'm building the system for SQ (which I hear these subs are designed for), and I want to make sure I've got enough power to properly push these things.

Basically I'm looking for your guys opinions on which would be the best amp to drive these subs. If anyone has any exerience with these, that would be helpful too. I can't seem to find much info out there.

Thanks,
