That happened in my home town. I think he did the right thing considering the neighborhood. That place is a crack ridden shit hole where 15 year olds are just as dangerous as grown drug dealers. It wouldn't have taken me that long.....when she resisted after being told twice I would have slammed her *** on the hood and gotten the cuffs on without considering her comfort in the matter.

I bet the cop seen her walkn down the road.... she does look like a crackhead but don't mean she is...prob just a poverty starved child...neways he probally seen her walking down the road assumed she was a crackhead probally with drugs on her and probally was going cause trouble he probally goes on to harrass her and she starts resisiting and leading to this.... still her fault but I think the cerfew thing is just a bullshit coverup for what he thought was a crackhead and arrested.

It was Officer Gilroy. My mom works in the narcotics department and knows the cop, and ive been fishing with the guy. Hes a great guy, just did his job.

If it were me, she would of gotten shot.

punching her was COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY.
however, IMO, it was a natural reaction, and i cant really blame him for it. it just an instinctive reaction for that considering the ***** was biting him.

the pepper spray, was a good idea, and i commend the cop for knowingly setting her up in front of the dash cam for both his/her sake. shitty to see that done to her, but the guy really didnt do anything wrong (besides punching her)

I agree with what you are saying. The girl was obviously not following the officers instructions and without a doubt, resisting arrest. If you don't pay attention to what an officer tells you to do you are going to get what's coming to you until you follow said directions. Now I agree that the punching in the face was a little much but I think that was just reaction and instinct rather then him being a prick. The pepper spray was a nice way to neutralize the situation without excessive force.

So, I agree with what happened.
