considering new sub

currently i have a hifonics 1608d 1600 watt amp and a alpine type r dual 4 12"subwoofer in a mtx thunder ported box...(dont have time for a custom box yet)

what 12" sub would be my best bet to run off my amp instead of the type r?

just asking for some suggestions any help?

A second type R, running both, a second dual 4.

id go with a dd 2512 or a 3512. eaither would pwn your type r.

fiy, i have a dd1508(8") running off of an mtx 81000d getting a solid 1k rms and im getting 138.8 on a tl sealed on the dash in a 01 chevy s-10. thats burping at 40hz.

well witht he setup i have right now... jsut when i was finding the peak frequency of my car.... i had the volume at 33/50 mind you that my gain is set so my subwoofer doesnt get maxxed out untill about 40/50or 45/50 volume and i did 136 on the TL few weeks ago... testing the frequency of my car

so i think when its up i do about 138s is my guess gotta test it asap tho wanna have for sure details.....

waht could i do with 1 better 12 sub inplace of my type r?
