Is there a way to connect power wire

I have 17 ft of wire and I need it longer to get the my trunk is there any way I can connect it to some more wire and not lose any power?

Depending on the size of wire, you could use a butt splice, an inline fuse holder, or simply solder the wires together and cover it with shrink tubing.
