60a on Amp and 60a in PW

I just ordered a BXI 608 and noticed it has a 60a fuse at the amplifier.

Now i'm running 4ga. power wire throughout my car and I have a 60a fuse in that already.

My question is, would it be unsafe to have a 60a in both places? I'm thinkin if current draw got to high it would just blow them both at the same time, or would it damage stuff?

it doesnt matter if both fuses blew at the same time, it will protect the amp because when 1 fuse blows it cuts off the current. when both fuses pop it just means that you have to replace both of them.

you will be good with 2 60a fuses

Chances are if you had two identical fuses, they would not both blow. That said, I doubt the fuse in the amp are the same as your inline fuse, so one would probably blow before the other, even under identical loads.
