Connecting 1/0 gauge wire to amp

either fused distro or put a small spade (for like 4ga wire) on the 1/0. you'd have to shave the bare wire down in order to fit the smaller spade on
I thought about the smaller spade, but wouldn't that really like, make the whole wire 4ga pretty much?

You could try separating them in two strands, and then stack them, crimp the terminals on and then electric tape it all up so it'll stay. That's what my friend did for my 4 gauge wire to fit into my 8 gauge terminals on my amp.

just distro it down to 8 gauge. that amp doesn't need 1/0.
I know my amp doesn't need it, but I have the power wire for the next amp I'm going to buy. I don't really see a point in spending money on more 8ga wire and a distro box, so would the "4-gauge spade and shaving the bare wire" thing work fine for a while?

better of just running it to a distro then having the 8g go to that amp then whatever gauge going to the other, most reasonable
