confused about new set up

Hello everyone,

I am new here and also pretty new to the audio field. I have done 2 mild audio systems in two of my cars consisting of double din head unit, after market component speakers, aftermarket amp and ran all new wiring(started with JBL speakers but was not too happy. Now I am running JL c2 components up front and c2 6x9s in the rear with a JL 4 way amp. Much better then my similar JBL set up). I am going to be getting a 2003-2006 lincoln town car before the end of summer and am starting to plan my audio system but I am getting very confused and overwhelmed. My price range is around 2k. I do not want my system with overwhelming bass and highs. As of right now I am thinking of this set up:

-custom kickpanels: JL C5-650s with tweeters either in factory location on doors or next to woofers.

-front doors: JL ZR800-CWs. Will most likely require modification to the door panel (cant find any depth measurements of the speaker opening)

-rear deck: To cut cost I was thinking of using C2-650s or C2-650Xs.

-sub: I want to use a JL 8W7AE-3 in a custom enclosure mounted to the rear deck using the factory sub opening.

I am mostly confused about what crossover and amps to use with this system set up. I was thinking a 6 way amp for the midbass drivers, front components and rear speakers with a class D amp for the sub. For crossover, the audiocontrol 6XS.

Like I said I am pretty new to audio so dont bash or hate on my ideas. I am open minded and willing to change my set up for the right reasons.

You can't just add aftermarket speakers to the doors and get great rewards. The doors need to be sealed up and deadened. If you need a box built, pm me. I'm local to you as well.

Cool thanks, I will let you know if I end up buying enclosures instead of making them. I will be adding deadening to doors. I am just having the most problems deciding what kind of amps and crossover to use.
