computer speaker problem?

thought maybe someone on here could help me out.

I got this Logitech speaker system for my computer. It has 5 speakers.

one of the speakers on the right side isn't working(theres 2 on the left(front and back), 2 on the right, and one in the middle on top of my monitor.

Is there anything I can do to fix the speaker? i dont know if the speaker itself blew out or the wire broke or whatever. I doubt the speaker broke because its supposed to be good quality. i think maybe its the wire that got messed up. what can i do?

i think it has something to do with, every night i pull that little wooden thing out because thats where my 'stash' is at. perhaps i broke the wire or something? is there something i can do to fix the speaker or is it gone for good? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I was asking if it was new...

first thing to do is unplug it from the amp and switch another speaker that output on the amp...if the speaker works, then the amp is fine and the problem is elsewhere

assuming the above works, then take the wire from the speaker that wasn't working and plug it into another output on the amp that you know works and see if you get sound.

if no sound, then the speaker and/or wire is shot! you can probably cut the wire and then mend the break(s)

pull the non working speaker out and check the wire for kinks
