hey all, i have 6.5 type r's in my front doors, and 5.25 audiopipes in my rear doors, i have a six channel amp, and i already have 2 12in type rs for subs. so i need to fill my last two channels with speakers. just wondering: what are the main differences between coaxials and components? is there that much of a difference in sound?
plus, im not new at car audio, but new at component speakers...the crossovers- some have 2 channel inputs, while some just have one channel inputs. for example, alpine type xs' crossovers have two channel imputs for one woofer/tweeter, which would mean you can only run one SET of components off a four channel amp, whereas other crossovers for kickers, polk etc. just have one channel input. question is, how many channels do you typically need for ONE woofer/tweeter combo? thanks for your help. let me know if there are any good components/coaxials on the market for ~120$. thanks again.
