Im goin 2 have 2 Brahma 12's and i waz wondering whats a good component set that will be loud enough so i can hear the highs and mids? Also I have never bought components before, i bought a pair of pioneer 3wayz, but thats all. How do they work? They come with a crossover right? Which in turn will enable me 2 turn up the bass on the head unit for my subs without blowing or distorting my components? Also I would have 2 amplify them right? Sorry for stupid questions im juss kinda new 2 component sets. Can you reccomend a good set 2 go wit my subs? Thanks. And Can u suggest a amp for the components? MUCH APPRECIATED!

How do they work?
They work like speakers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif There are a tweeter and a mid for each side (left and right), as well as two crossovers. You wire one crossover to one channel of the amp, and then wire a tweeter and mid to the crossover. Do that for both sides.

They come with a crossover right?
Right

Which in turn will enable me 2 turn up the bass on the head unit for my subs without blowing or distorting my components?
Wrong. All the crossover does is highpass the tweeter and lowpass the mid. You will still need to find some way to highpass the mids yourself. You can do it either with the highpass on your amp, or sometimes your headunit will have a highpass built in that you can turn on, or you can use Fmods.

Also I would have 2 amplify them right?
Yes, external amplification would be required

Not a problem //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

How much do you have to spend? What size are your factory speakers?

Thats the thing i dont know how much to spend cuz i want a good set with a good amp so i can hear it all over the subs. Maybe like 250-300? i have no idea 2 tell u the truth. And my factory speakers and 6 1/2's. are 6 x 9's better? I waz thinkin maybe infinty components?

IMO Boston Acoustics Pro6.5 comps would work good for you. Get an amp in the 200w/channel range and they'll scream. I had a 400w RMS x 2 amp on mine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif They handle tons of power, sound great, and get insanely loud. Some other brands to check out are Focal, Diamond, DLS, MB Quart, Image Dynamics, Morel, Rainbow, Arc Audio.

Also, stick with 6 1/2s //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
