Complete System Install in 2008 Honda Pilot

What setup? I haven't bought/installed anything yet?

And I think the biggest sub that will fit is a 10. I'll take a look at the suggested Kicker, thanks.

If you are looking for a shallow sub, then hit up this forum.

Stereointegrity.com

They have their new BM sub coming out soon and is a shallow sub that will run 179 a piece. They will get loud and sound good doing so as well. Eventually they will take over the shallow sub top of line movement. I believe they are 500rms as well.

Or if you have enough room, then hit up a SI Mag, which don't take much room either. It is what I am getting when they come out. Calls for 1.2cft, which isn't all that big, but I think they only come out in 12" version. They can take up too 1000rms, but get loud off 400rms. They need a sealed box and will perform very well. These will be selling for 250 a sub.

I would do this.

Pioneer 800PRS

PG Rsd's componet set

Don't need rear fill

Sub-1 Mag or two BM's

Both sealed boxes for either sub at 1.2 or 0.7 for each of the BM subs

Autotek SS amp or Mean machine Autotek amp. 750rms to 1000rms, which they have.

Highs amp, anything 75rms at x4 or 100rmsX2 should suffice for the highs. Only recommended the x4 in case you want to use rear fill, or you could just use your HU for rear fill.

Crossover-I like Memphis, but you go active and use the amps and your deck for processing.

Wire-Love the Kicker hyperflex, but is a little dough, so could go with Knuconceptz wiring for cheaper.

Do the big 3, get at least a back battery. I like the Kinetiks or Stinger's. Hell even Optima isn't too bad.

That will be under the 2500 smacks and sound much better.

Also in reguards to your comment back on me about your installer place. I was just saying a lot of times places don't like to install other peoples equipment, rather it be off the streets or offline. If they don't have a problem and stick by their installs, then you are golden, however you will be charged quite a bit for it I would imagine.

Installation from Audio shops can be expensive, I was quoted around $1100 to install the stuff in my sig from several shops, I knew how to install it was just feeling lazy. Well with those prices I got my lazy arse up and did it myself:)

I believe audio shops realize you can buy electronics online way cheaper than you can from them, so they have to make money some where, THE INSTALL.

Make some friends on here, I am pretty sure someone on here is willing to help you out. Usually all that is required is a case of beer, like many have mentioned car audio is FUN & ADDICTING for us:D
