comment on my setup

why dont you do this. Since you already have this set up and working. Listen to a song with all your subs playing. Then listen to the same song with just the 13.. then listen to the same song with just the 10's. If you are in fact not getting any canellation listening to only 1 type of your subs should not improve the SQ. Great way to also test to see if in fact that 1 13 hits noticibly lower than the 10's. Then report back to us your findings. I mean thats just what I would have done right in the start.

how can you tell there is no cancellation?? Obviously you can’t hear it like the rest of us so put it on an RTA and send me a pic of where the curve is at.

dont worry il wait

congradulations lol another guy i can appreciate right here yes i have done that... i even went farther i and i have adjusted each speparate kind of sub to be the entire bass of my car... and yes i found that the only way i could get full rich sound at ALL bass frequencies was by mixing sizes of subs... so i figured maby 2 boxes of 2 100's on different amp setting would do the trick, but the result of that was massive distortion... only when i hooked up the differnt size sub did it hear with the clarity and volume i had been searching to find since i started

great suggestion... where is the best place to get the equiptment? any brands i should look for?

WOW me and chevyaudio must be missing out on the ledgenary "LOST FREQUENCIES" that you only get with the dub6's of all sizes in different sized boxes and different diameters

on a side note, what was the original question? Was it just reaction to your system or were you trying to debate on what amp or what? Kinda got lost in all this. Everyone likes to be quick to flame people on this forum.. just the way it is it seems.

yeah just wanted some opinions maby some intellegint conversation lol

ok you stated in your last post that you have differing peak frequencies for the 10's and 13. So just to put some numbers to help illustrate the point the 13 play up to 80hz and the 10s play up to 100hz. So up to 80hz they both are playing the same frequencies.

this page is somehwhat helpful explaining

http://www.sfu.ca/sonic-studio/handbook/Cancellation.html

I would try and make one certain sub size be efficient at certain frequencies. The 13 be playing 53hz and down, the 10's playing the frequencies between 60hz and 125hz or so, those are just examples. i still would be interested in seeing this, from what i see you get 15 or 16v from the alty by what you say and don't see any extra batteries or what else, using sony or Jl amps on the subs, haven't seen anything to power the comps and nothing else in regards to your setup or something to crossover the subs to avoid cancellation and make it sound a whole lot better. but i might have to meet up and see this.
