L7 distortion.

ok, i thought i have a box problem or something. i have talked to many people including to people which one used to installs for a living and, the other is doing installs for a living. ive come to the conclusion that my l7 is distorting before my amp is even half. i have the zx750.1 pushing it. now is it somehow possible were all mistaking this distortion for the box, could it be it? its in a tiny 1 cubic foot sealed box.

also: i dont have 3 pre amp out puts, only one. i have two amps.

so i ran rcas to the zx750.1, then from that amp i carried it on over to zx200.4, my speaker amp. now, could that be causing interference? could it be the box and that?

this has been going on for a long time. i know this is not all this has in it before it distorts. something messed up. i was just think rcas.........help me please.

ive checked everything, soup to nuts. the only i havent checked is my HU ground. should i run a ground or should the ground be good now?

yeah IIRC when you use a Y-adapter, which is never really good in the first place from what I hear, it's splitting the voltage of the pre-outs probably causing some sort of low signal most likely... and why don't you just disconnect the y-adapter and see how it sounds.. given you probably won't have any vocals but you would definately be able to hear the difference...

L7 in a sealed box = ewww

1 cube sealed for an L7 12 = ewwwww. Put a new box in there...thats not 1 cube.
