already had that experience. i liked it but at this point in my life i'm more concerned about getting a degree and moving on with my lifeMan, you totally need to live in the dorms for a year. So many great memories and great friends years later. It is absolutely worth the money...it is an experience that everyone should have.
no shit but i wanted to get opinions from students on what they dodude seriously , this is what ADVISORS are for, just goto the college your thinking about, walk in the univerisity center or whatever your's is called and talk to an ADVISOR ... thats what they do, advise!!! jeez
so basically if i got approved for that i would be garaunteed a job? also another idea i got for a worst case senario would be since i'm about 80-100 miles from campus, just come back and work at my current job on weekends. also this school is located near 4 decent sized cities so i should be able to find part time workhttp://studentaid.ed.gov/students/publications/student_guide/2003_2004/english/types-fed-workstudy.htm
usually pay pretty good, but the hours are limited.. would be enough to have spending money if you live on campus tho.
Ive never really done it, but i know a few people who have.. I'm not sure how they choose where you work.. i think its like what your good at or something? I knew a kid who did landscaping, a girl who was an teachers aid, someone who worked in a tech lab.. there are all sorts of jobs.. you would have to talk to someone at the school to find out what they offer and how you pick.so basically if i got approved for that i would be garaunteed a job? also another idea i got for a worst case senario would be since i'm about 80-100 miles from campus, just come back and work at my current job on weekends. also this school is located near 4 decent sized cities so i should be able to find part time work

where will i get the money to live off campus though? rent here is atleast $800 in college townsOK first and foremost to review colleges go to review.com, its the Princeton review website of every college in America.
At your age I would NOT live in the dorms. I would live off campus right on a street next to school, that was possible at my school maybe not all schools.
I have over 30k in loans, I did everything myself no help from the fam. I regret non of it. For 30k I could never buy another 4 year experience like that again.
Work study programs are a great way to make minimum wage on campus, bartering is a great way to make decent money off campus with ***** fringe benefits.
Ill never regret a moment or dollar i spent.
i bet i could too. saginaw is not far from northwood. same thing as flint just smallergo to that place in flint.. i bet you could get a cheap apt in flint ;p
