well by may i will have completed my associates degree. i'll have a total of 85 credits, and my college has a partnership with a few universities where i go 3 years at the community and 1 year at a university and get my bachelors. now with these different colleges idk if i wanna go online, live at the dorm, or make a long commute. my school options are franklin university, wich is online and lots of students went there from my school, northwood wich is about 80 miles away, lake superior state wich is way up north, university of michigan-flint wich obviously is in flint, atleast 2 hours away, but much closer to detroit then i am now, wich would be nice for me, and they also offer online. i guess i wanna know the advantages of online, dorm, and commuting, and anybody know a good research website where i can i find out more about these schools?

do many 22-23 year olds live in a dorm?
eh, i would not worry about that too much. like me, you seem to be quite immature for your age.

but that would be the way to go IMO if all things were equal. and by that I mean if you would not incur substantially more debt than you would with your other options. coming out of school with a heavy debt sucks.

by the way, the school I went to did not emphasize capitalization at all.

talking 7k for room & board

That does not sound too bad. If you went the commute route you would spend a good portion of that on travel expenses. I travel a lot and my experience is that when you are rolling a lot of miles off the maintenance expenses can add up quick.

Im going to Auburn next year. Plan on staying in a dorm my frist year. If I do the whole frat thing Ill end up in a frat house.....if I decide thats isnt what I want to do I will definatley move to an apartment for the remainder of my stay.

I'd live in a dorm if I get a chance, I went to my friends dorm its really cool if u actually meet people in the same dorm as u. Cuse than u can just hang out every single day with freinds. Plus girls and booze, whats to hate?

I have done the online thing as well as commute to class, sometimes both at the same time. The online course(s) are good if you are self-disciplined and motivated, but it can be difficult when you have a question cuz the reply answer may take hours or a day to be received. That kinda sucked, and happens quite a bit. The commute to class which was every other day was an hour each way and at night due to working but it was worth it to me cuz I am one to learn by hands on experience. Good luck on the BA and congratulations in advance on the AA.

Dorm if you can.

I tried the online thing, and from my experiences, you have to have very good time management for online courses.

I originally dormed at my college for 2 years and loved it. I now commute to another college, which is about a 15 minute drive.

dude just live on campus, only *****s commute or do online classes

i live in the "upperclass men" dorms (which are privet single rooms) and its totally kickass... and yes there are 22-23 year olds that live here , their the ones that have to buy the cases //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
