christmas options...

huge *** ridgid table saw --- 550

big *** husky compressor --- 450

clamps/circular saw/blades/random wood working stuff and cash--- uhhh....3-400?

what would your choice be, and why?

im leaning to numero 3, reason being i HAVE a table saw, and well...a compressor is not NEEEEEDDDEEEDDD at the moment.

i would get the table saw, because thats EXACTLY what i need right now. What kind of table saws u looking at? Im trying to find something with at least a 36" rip capacity, but cant find anything. So we might have to buy a biesemeyer fence thingy, which is like 300 bucks. Ouch!

bro, go to home depot, the huge ridgid table saw for like 550 has a 37 inch rip on the right side, 12 on the left......u can ALWAYS flip wood around to have the 37 inch rip.

ther are downfalls on all of them lol. the compressor is not a NEEDED thing right now. and neither is the table saw, and hell....none of the are NEEDED. the compressor would be nice to have for sanding purposes, and tire rotation, and all that, brad nailer, all that. but the table saw is HUGE and would prolly be a quick way to build boxes as well. but the circular saw, fence, and clamps and oher random things for wood working, i can use to build boxes, build cabinets, furniture, shelves, whatever. so really all 3 would be awesome, but the 3rd option kinda does everything i NEED. the compressor would be a thing i have just in case right now.

I have a table saw and a compressor so..... I say option 3.

Money is always good. Plus you can get some of the smaller tools that you may not normally want to just go out and buy for yourself.

yea, but were looking to spend about 3-400 hopfully, but i guess a 550 would be cheaper than a 250 plus a 315 fence, and probably nicer.

I too have both, money is good, but im asking for a 50 gallon compressor for christmas, my 24 gallon isnt cutting it when it comes to sanding for long periods of time.

i would personally get the table saw. with car audio i think it would get the most use

im a little confused though, one section says "Retract-a-rip™ fence and rail maintains rip dimension accuracy and provides a 25 In. rip capacity" but then goes on to say "Rip Capacity - Right 36 In. "

Have you seen this in person? Which one is it?

do you have a nice router/circle jig etc?

I say the air-compressor because it makes things so much easier. Having a brad nailer and dual action sander cut down time and tedious bs soooo much.

Holy Cannolies! I cant remember the last thing I got for Christmas that cost that much. I am printing this out and taking it to my mother and gonna be like see I never asked for anything expensive.

Next year I am though dam it!
